Little Ripper Studios is a full-service video production company based in Los Angeles — with deep roots in Australia. We partner with brands, agencies, and artists to create commercials, brand films, music videos, social content, and product photography that actually move people.
From pre-production through to final delivery, we handle every stage in-house: creative concept, location scouting, on-set direction, post-production editing, colour grading, and sound. Whether you're a startup launching your first campaign or an established brand looking for a production studio that thinks differently — we bring the same level of care and craft to every single frame.
Filming, editing, conceptualising, design — plus prop and set building. Built for brands, artists and campaigns that want something with real character.
Brief → Concept → Shoot → Edit → Delivery. Fast turnarounds and clean deliverables for every platform — no hand-holding required.

Nathan Mizzi is a filmmaker, creative director, and producer from Melbourne, Australia — who made the arguably questionable decision to swap the world's most liveable city for Los Angeles. That was over a decade ago. He's still here, which either says a lot about the weather or the work.
He founded Little Ripper Studios because he believed there was a better way to run a production company — one where the person with the creative vision is also the person on set, in the edit, and on the phone with the client. No middlemen, no corners cut, no "we'll fix it in post" moments that everyone pretends didn't happen. Before that, he spent three years coordinating VFX pipelines at FuseFX across productions for Apple TV+, Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Disney+, Hulu, and FX — learning exactly how the big end of the industry works, and what smaller teams can do better.
These days he runs Little Ripper while also serving as Senior Art Director at Mother Robot, overseeing creative production for clients including RCA. He directs, produces, shoots, edits, builds sets, and occasionally moves furniture on location when the budget calls for it. The goal is always the same: make something worth watching.
