G'day, mates, and thanks for stopping by! Little Ripper Studios is a full-service video production company based in Los Angeles, California, with deep roots in Melbourne, Australia. We partner with brands, agencies, and artists to create whatever it is they need, be it commercials, music videos, brand films, feature films, short films, social content, product photography, the list goes on. We're game for anything that could use a distinct jolt of originality and passion.
With us, you're in good hands. From pre-production (yes, the spark of an idea written on a napkin counts!) to the final delivery of your project, our team handles every stage in-house: creative concept, location scouting, on-set direction, post-production editing, color grading, and sound.
Whether you're a startup launching your first campaign or an established brand looking for a fresh perspective, we bring the same level of care and craft to every single frame. Cheers!
Conceptualizing, filming, editing, design, prop and set building; Is there anything we can't do? Maybe, but we have yet to find it. We're built for limitless imagination.
Brief → Concept → Shoot → Edit → Delivery. Fast turnarounds and clean deliverables for every platform, no hand-holding required. Unplug y'all, we got this.
While our feet are planted in Los Angeles, we bring a cross-continental perspective to every project we touch. Inspiration knows no borders!
Nathan Mizzi is a filmmaker, creative director, and producer from Melbourne, Australia, who made the arguably questionable decision to swap the world's most liveable city for Los Angeles. After a decade plus, he's still here, which either says a lot about the weather or the work.
Nathan founded Little Ripper Studios because he believed there was a better way to run a production company; one where the person with the creative vision is also the person on set, in the edit, and on the phone with the client. No middlemen, no cutting corners, no "we'll fix it in post" moments that everyone pretends didn't happen. Before that, he spent three years coordinating VFX pipelines at FuseFX across productions for Apple TV+, Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Disney+, Hulu, and FX, learning exactly how the big end of the industry works, and what smaller teams can do better.
These days, he runs Little Ripper while also serving as Senior Art Director at Mother Robot, a digital marketing agency, overseeing creative production for clients including RCA. He directs, produces, shoots, edits, builds sets, and occasionally moves furniture on location when the budget calls for it. The goal is always the same: make something worth watching.
